We offer a range of IT management & support services for your business. Many small businesses
lack in-house IT expertise and in such cases we can offer a complete solution. We can also act in
a supporting role to complement your in-house personnel. Either way, when things go wrong we can
come to your rescue offering you complete peace of mind.
Service Types
Systems management & technical support services are offered on a contractual
or a pay-as-you-go basis.
Contractual
Service contracts can be customised to your requirements. Generally, management and support contracts
are offered on an annual or quarterly basis comprising a service level agreement and a number of
hours included per month. Should the included support time be exceeded, subsequent support time will
be charged at the discounted rate agreed in the contract. Out of hours emergency technical support
is also available by prior agreement.
Pay-as-you-go
When opting for pay-as-you-go management or support, you will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
For call outs, there will be a minimum charge depending on your location. We do not offer guaranteed
response times on our pay-as-you-go service, but we do endevour to respond as quickly as possible.
Out of hours emergency support is not available without prior agreement.
Typical Services
A selection of the most common services we provide are as follows:
System & Network Administration
Remote administration of your servers and workstations. Maintenance of your core network
services including email, web and database, and core network hardware
including routers, firewalls, switches and wireless access points.
We work with both Microsoft Windows and Linux based systems.

Backup Management
Have peace of mind that your system backups are in safe hands. We can take care of all your
data backup needs providing on-site backups to removable media, and off-site network
backups to our two data centres.

System Monitoring
Live remote monitoring of bandwidth and critical servers, services,
and applications allows us to inform you when we forsee a problem.
We recommend system monitoring in addition to most of our solutions. For example,
ensuring that software updates and data backups are operating normally,
and that general performance & utilisation are at expected levels.

User Assistance
By email, telephone and remote desktop, we provide frontline support for
many popular applications, including Microsoft Office. We are happy to provide
support for general system problems, and we support Linux as well as Microsoft Windows platforms.

Network & Internet Troubleshooting
When there is trouble with your internet connection, or your LAN, we can quickly diagnose the problem
and offer rapid solutions. Where solutions require replacement parts that are not readily available
we will endevour to provide temporary work-arounds
so that your business does not grind to a halt in the mean time.

Disaster Recovery
When there is a major failure of your IT infrastructure,
we will get you back on your feet as quickly as possible. Where possible the latest data
will be retreived from the damaged system, but when corruption is suspected we will
recover lost data from backups. This will often be the case with a server failure,
accidental deletion of files, or a malware attack.
