Groupware products such as Microsoft Exchange together with Microsoft Outlook facilitate the rapid sharing of everyday information such as diaries, emails, contacts, and notes.

The standard IMAP platform brings additional compatability with a wide range of other groupware clients including Mozilla Thunderbird and Novell Evolution on the Desktop, and SquirrelMail and the Insight Webclient through the web.
